Problem: Raven Flux is preparing to release their debut album and is looking for someone to design the cover. The psychedelic/punk band is looking for something that uses neon colors while still having an edge. They're looking for something that stands out and sets the tone for upcoming releases. Along with the album cover, they want vinyl inserts, a short ad for socials and a booklet that shows the design process.

Where I Come In: I created a mood board to present to Raven Flux, showing them the vibe I was going for, as well as a sketch of what I would later create. Once I finished the sketches, I went onto the design, drawing the raven skeleton using Adobe Fresco, and using free-use stock images for the dirt and other assets. Using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, I messed with the colors of everything to give it a bright, grunge look. Using After Effects, I created a short motion graphics ad to be posted on socials. Finally, I used InDesign to create a flipbook of my progress.

Results: My work resulted in a 100% grade on my Capstone Project. I also received kudos from my professor, peers, and portfolio reviewers. I received valuable practice in Adobe Creative Suite, as well s learning how to use InDesign.
