The Black/African American Cultural Center, or B/AACC Office, is a cultural center located on the Colorado State University Campus. They serve as advocates for students as they navigate the college experience while challenging the status quo by promoting an inclusive, positive learning environment that fosters the success and development of all students. They celebrate cultural diversity and promote creativity, education, and collaboration, as well as providing opportunities to take pride in individual differences while celebrating collective similarities.
The B/AACC Office is known for being a safe space for students of all racial backgrounds to study, learn, and celebrate their culture. They incorporate history in all of their themes, stickers, and marketing, and use primarily CSU colors, as well as orange, red, yellow, and black. Following these guidelines, I created several social media posts promoting events, which increased social media interaction by 100% in my first semester of employment.
